While many children will be looking forward to being back with their friends, starting or returning to school can also be an anxious time for some.
The council has put together a guide to useful information – from term dates and school transport to services for children with additional needs, managing health and wellbeing, and help with the cost-of-living such as support with uniform, free school meals and childcare costs.
