During November 2018 we will be going live on Oracle Cloud Applications with a number of modules.
The current plan is to close the current Oracle e-Business Suite on Thursday 8 November. There will be limited access to the system on this day.
There will be no change to Employee and Manager Self Service. From Friday 9 November, you should continue to use the existing e-Business application for requesting leave, updating personal information, viewing your payslip and sickness management. This will be the case until we go live on the Payroll module in the new year.
The new Oracle Cloud Applications system will be commissioned and data migrated from the old system from 9 to 12 November. All modules other than those detailed above will be unavailable. The new system will undergo a final key user test on 13 November and will be available for general use on Wednesday 14 November.
If you are a Procurement user, you will have received information about the procurement module. Training for this module is also available on Learning Together.
In the coming week we will be circulating the temporary changes to business processes for Procurement, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable users, necessary for the migration to the new system.
We will also be contacting cost centre managers and approvers with further information to ensure that they are fully aware of the new process for approvals before the system goes live.
You can find out more about Oracle Cloud Applications on the e-Business intranet page.
