For the attention of: All maintained schools and academies
In response to the feedback we have received from SLA visits, headteacher partnership meetings and our recent customer satisfaction survey we are undertaking a review of the CPD programme we offer to schools.
Once we have collated the responses to the questionnaire we intend to review our CPD offer with a view to tailoring it to better meet the needs of senior leaders in schools. We will amend the programme content to ensure it is relevant to different school phases/organisation and suitable for either/both experienced and recently appointed school leaders. We also intend to plan the timing and location of the sessions in accordance with customer demand.
We have 11 trainers accredited to deliver Safer Recruitment training and we will continue to offer this at least once a term as a full day session but are open to delivering partnership/locality based sessions as 2 afternoon/twilight sessions.
The questionnaire can be completed by Headteachers (or a designated member of your SLT), Chairs of Governors, School Business Managers or indeed anyone in school who has attended or has an interest in attending the HR CPD sessions. An email has been circulated to your school admin email address with a link to the Google form.
The survey should take no more than 10 minutes of your time. I would appreciate it if you could complete the survey before Friday 29 June ’18.
