From September 2016 the Local Authority Commissioners will be responsible for providing the interface between the partnerships of schools and the local authority.
The commissioners will also be well placed to identify area and county-wide needs and best practice. These structures aim to compliment any other supportive groups which individual schools are involved in. Commissioners will continue to work across the whole county with regard to their individual responsibilities in tandem with the specific partnership roles.
We hope to arrange meetings early in the Autumn term where each partnership can design the practical working of their collective to best meet their need. We will also be meeting with School Improvement Partners early in the Autumn term to discuss the changes with them. Their role will remain largely unchanged. In the meantime if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your named commissioner.
