You may have heard that Music Partnership North are now able to offer online 1:1 music lessons to our pupils. We started these lessons after the Easter break and the response from parents, pupils and tutors has been very positive. The lessons work well using Google Meet as the online platform. We request that a parent is present in the lessons for safeguarding measures and we have had good feedback from parents who have enjoyed the experience of seeing what takes place in an instrumental lesson and understanding what the pupil has to practise during the week. It also gives tutors an opportunity to meet the parents of the pupils they teach, which is not always possible when working in schools.
We are now looking to expand this provision and would like to reach as many parents and pupils as possible. Please can you share the email below, along with the 4 attachments (here, here, here and here), with the parents of pupils who were having instrumental/vocal lessons before schools closed.
Although we are now only offering a five week block of lessons, between June and July, we also expect to continue offering online lessons in September.
Dear Parent / Guardian
I am pleased to let you know that we are now able to offer online instrumental lessons. I am contacting you to ask if you are interested in signing up for a package of lessons for your child. In order to continue our planning I would ask that you read the attached documents and then complete the online form below if you wish to register for a package of lessons. Please remember that your child will need to have an instrument at home in order to receive the lessons.
We are offering 2 different packages of 1:1 lessons so before you complete the form you may wish to consider which package will suit you best. I am sorry but we are currently not able to offer the 10 lesson packages.
Option 1: 5 x 20 minute lessons @ £60
Option 2: 10 x 20 minute lessons @ £120
Option 3: 5 x 30 minute lessons @ £87.50
Option 4: 10 x 30 minute lessons @ £175
No payment is required at this stage. Once we know we are able to provide the lessons we will then ask for online payment.
Please complete the online form Remote Tuition and complete and return the parental consent form.
You will need to print off the parental consent form, complete it, scan or photograph and email it back to email@example.com. Unfortunately we are unable to accept any consent forms by post.
